President/CEO of City Lights Entertainment, Michael Wood is a music industry veteran at the tender age of 30. On top of running City Lights Entertainment Michael is currently signed to US record label Top Sail and distributed nationally by Warner/Elektra/Atlantic (WEA).
For years Michael managed his own career which included finding and negotiating his band's record deal, management deals, producer deals, organizing international showcases and touring. Last year, Michael wrote his first book on the industry called "You've Got A Friend In The Biz" recounting his trips to Los Angeles and the inner workings of the music industry.
Well known for his creative marketing and friendly approach Michael has worked live musical performances into major league sports including the NHL, MLB and the IRL. It is Michael's relentless pursuit of his goals which would be a valuable asset to any musician to learn from.
